HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO PREPARE FOR THE GED? The answer varies with each adult. It depends on how much material you need to learn, how quickly you learn and how much time you can put into your studies. Adults have many demands on their time, so our program can work with people who only have a few hours a week to spend on their studies. One thing is definite, the more time you put in, the faster you reach your goal. The program is designed so that you can work at home and/or in regular classes.
IS THE GED TEST HARD? One-third of high school graduates would fail.
WHAT IS ON THE GED TEST? The GED test is an eight-hour test. It can be taken in two four-hour sessions. There are five parts. The first part is Language Arts-Writing.
In this part you write an essay and answer multiple-choice grammar questions based on real-life materials. The fourth part is Language Arts – Reading where you read passages and answer multiple-choice questions about them.
