Dogs For Adoption

Nelson County has several very nice dogs for adoption at this time.

We have males, females, adult, and puppies for adoption.

Please call 434-263-7047 to make an appointment to see our selection.

To inquire about any of our pets listed, please email animalcontrol@nelsoncounty.org.
Please use the name of the pet as the subject line.
Please do not email requests for traps or stray animal pickup. Please call the shelter to speak with an officer.
