Natt Hall called the meeting to order.
There was no public comment.
Motion: To approve the October 6, 2005 meeting minutes.
Wheaton-Taylor (4-0 – Allen Hale was not in attendance for this motion)
Natt Hall announced that both the north and south Route 29 signs are
complete and Allen Hale will see that the letters on the south sign
receive the oil treatment.
Maureen Corum reported that staff is preparing a survey to go to the
various county internet users, including government, business and
education groups. She said that Verizon has made contact to note
their willingness to continue discussions on how broadband could be
made more available in the county.
Maureen Corum asked for the members input on creating the scope of
services to be included in the request for proposal for the Callohill
property. Members agreed that the RFP should include the basics
with a request for proposed highest and best uses for the
property. Ms. Corum said that she would provide a draft RFP for
approval prior to sending it out.

discuss legal matters under the Virginia Freedom of Information Act

resolved, the Economic Development Authority of Nelson County does
hereby return to regular session having only discussed legal matters.
