Montebello Fall Camp and Ride. Bring your horse and enjoy fresh mountain air, fall scenery and beautiful horse trails in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Pick Your Own Fuji Apples at Mountain Cove Orchard. The longer Fuji apples hang on the tree the sweeter they get and by mid-October forward they are fantastic. The orchard is easily accessed and has small trees for easy picking. Open Saturday and Sunday. Walton's Mountain 16th Anniversary Celebration. Walton's Mountain Museum in rustic Schuyler, Virginia, the museum is opposite the historic Hamner House, creator of "The Walton's". The 5th Annual Steeplechase at Oak Ridge Estate presented by Jubilee Family Center of Lynchburg, Virginia. This year�s event will feature selected races sanctioned by the National Steeplechase Association and will bring top horses, riders, trainers and owners to the area. The day promises top notch horse racing, a variety of children�s activities, shopping opportunities and exciting terrier races. Admission. Reservation for Tailgating Required.
