RVCC Spring Community Consignment Sale
May 1-4. 2008

Out with the old and in with the new (or new to you anyway!)...it's time
to clean our your closets and your attic for a good cause! The Rockfish
Valley Community Center is hosting a Spring Consignment Sale and we would
love to help you get rid of your great old stuff! Clothes, furniture,
antiques, building supplies, tools, garden furniture -- you name it!

Three ways to get involved:

Consign!
Consignors will drop off clean, tagged items in good condition to RVCC
during drop off times Sunday, April 27th- Tuesday, April 29th (photos of
large items are acceptable as well). 50% of the proceeds will go to the
consignor and 50% will go to RVCC. To get a consignor number and full

Volunteer!
We will need lots of volunteers to take in items, set up and break down
after the sale, and to help during the sale. All volunteers who work at
least 4 hours over the week will be able to shop at the Volunteer ONLY
PRE-SALE on Thursday, May 1st before the sale opens to the public! Come
volunteer to help us with this and get first dibs on the great stuff!
Please call RVCC and identify yourself as a volunteer for the Consignment
Sale.

Shop!
Plan to join us Thursday, May 1st from 3:00-7:00pm, Firday, May 2nd from
10:00am-7:00pm, or Saturday, May 3rd from 8:00am-4:00pm. On Sunday, May
4th we will have a 50% off sale of all remaining items* from
11:00am-3:00pm.

*only items marked for donation will be sold during the half price sale
since all proceeds will go to RVCC

Help Us Recycle Your Printer Cartridge & Old Cell Phones
Turn your used up inkjet and laser printer cartridges and old cell phones into community development !!
Reduce county waste disposal costs, reduce landfill use and help protect the environment!!
Rockfish Valley Community Center has gotten involved with the Funding Factory Recycling Program in order to earn cash while reducing the 30,000,000 cell phones and 300,000,000 printer cartridges which we put in landfills last year.
Simply drop off these items in RVCC's lobby, at the Treasure Chest Thrift Shop, with the attendant at the new Convenience Center located adjacent to RVCC and we will do the rest.
Save the packaging these cartridges come in and use them in the future to deliver your cartridges to us.
We cannot recycle cell phone accessories.

Pancake Breakfast
On the first Saturday of each month fill up your bellies with a full breakfast of pancakes with bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, orange juice or milk, and, of course, coffee. You will find great conversation and a chance to connect with friends and neighbors. Breakfast will be served from 8:30AM until the food disappears. The cost for RVCC Members is $4 for adults, $2 for kids. Non-members are welcome as well for $6 for adults, $4 for kids.
After breakfast, check out our special sale at the Treasure Chest where you can fill a bag of clothing for $6. Baked delicacies are available at both locations, and benefit the Rockfish Senior Program. For more information call RVCC at 434-361-0100 or email pancakebreakfast@rockfishcc.org.
