The Nelson County Board of Supervisors is seeking interested and qualified applicants for the following positions:
Position: Two (2) Full-time Roll-off Vehicle Operators
Hiring Range: $26,310 - $29,767
Closing Date: May 22, 2008
Estimated Start Date: July 14, 2008
Responsibilities include the ability to operate a roll-off vehicle for collection and delivery of solid waste and recyclables. Must have general knowledge of routine maintenance on a roll-off vehicle and the ability to maintain daily route records. Education equivalent to high school graduation is desirable. Commercial Driver’s License, Class B with air brake endorsement is required. Candidates will be required to undergo a background check and pre-employment drug testing. Random drug testing during employment is also required. Applicants must include a current five year DMV record with application.
