PUBLIC HEARING ITEMS

1.   Final Subdivision – Samuel & Gretchen Price (Board of Supervisors action not required.) (Continued from June meeting)
Consideration of a family division plat dividing 3.191 acres from 12.60 acres owned by Mr. and Mrs. Price, Tax Map #41-3-2, 6299 Crabtree Falls Highway, Roseland, Virginia. The parcel lies within the Tye Cliff Subdivision.

2.     Rezoning #2008-002 – Linda Catalano
Consideration of a request by Ms. Catalano to rezone 33.43 acres from Industrial M-2 to Agricultural A-1. The property is located at 10363 James River Road, Shipman, Virginia, Tax Map #68-A, Parcel 208C. A small portion of the property is currently A-1 zoning.

3.   Site Plan #2008-003 – St. James Baptist Church (Board of Supervisor action not required)
Consideration of a site plan for St. James Baptist Church to add approximately 1500 sq. ft. to the existing church. The addition will include a pastor’s office, baptismal area, and nursery. The church is located at the intersection of St. James Church Road, Claypool Road, and Buffalo Mines Road, Piney River, Virginia, Tax Map #64-A-53.

4.     Class III Communications Tower – Kiers & White – nTelos
Consideration of an application for a Class III communications tower permit for nTelos to construct a steel monopole pole not to exceed 130’ within a 50’ x 50’ lease area, located on Tax Map #22-A-60, Rockfish Valley Highway, Nellysford, Virginia, owned by Frieda D. & Jacqueline Kier and Mary Barbara White. In addition, nTelos is requesting a special exception to Section 20-7-2e of the Zoning Ordinance. Site Number: CV821. Site Name: Greenfield.

5.   Amendment to Special Use Permit #96-6 – Brush - AT&T
Consideration of a request by AT&T to amend SUP #96-6 to allow for installation of six (6) antennas mounted on an existing tower located on Thurmond’s Hollow Lane, Rt. 615, Faber, Virginia, Tax Map #36-A-6. Equipment shelter will be located at the base of the tower on a slab. The parcel is owned by Robert T. and Claudia M. Brush. Site Number: CV382A. Site Name: Thurmonds Hollow Lane.
