Bev Lacey will return to Pharsalia to share tips from her 15 years of growing and propagating flowers for a colorful fall garden. Home gardeners can propagate and grow both dahlias and mums when proper dividing, pinching and storage are practiced. Growing information and hands-on demonstrations of these techniques will leave participants confident in their abilities to grow and reproduce these treasured flowers. Specially chosen dahlia tubers and mum starts will be for sale as well as peony plants, perennials, annuals and Pharsalia’s favorite clippers. This workshop will be held rain or shine. Join us for a day in the country and learn the tricks of the trade as Bev goes through the steps in detail of how to be a successful grower. Please bring a picnic lunch and drink with you to enjoy on the grounds or under the tent of Pharsalia. Fee. Register in advance.
