This workshop will include tips on planting peonies as well as harvesting and conditioning other flowers. As you walk the grounds to cut-your-own flowers from our abundant gardens, some of the varieties may be peonies, mock orange, lilacs, baptisias, fringe tree, scotch broom, hellebores and more. Once you have finished cutting flowers, you will create your own one-of-a-kind arrangement to take home to enjoy. Please bring a picnic lunch and drink to enjoy on the grounds or under the tent of Pharsalia when you have finished. You will also need to bring a clean bucket, clippers and a vase or container to use for your arrangement. A box is always helpful as well to transport your finished product home. Pharsalia will also have annuals, perennials as well as our favorite clippers for sale. The workshop will be held rain or shine. Fee. Register in advance.
