Workshop with Jamie Konarski Davidson. If you love flowers but wish your photos of them were better, this workshop is for you. Learn some simple techniques and tools (composition, lighting and more) that will make your flower images shine. The workshop begins with a classroom session on Better Flower Photography Made Simple, and then moves outside for a field session on the amazing grounds of Pharsalia to put the lessons into practice. Whether you’re a beginner, hobbyist or advanced photographer, you’ll have fun learning how to improve your flower photography. Whether you have a DSLR, mirrorless or point and shoot camera, or even your phone, this workshop will help you move forward and have fun in the process. Plan to bring your camera with charged battery and plenty of memory for the field session. If you have a tripod, bring it. A small flashlight can come in handy for simple lighting. And, if you have a diffusor or reflector, bring those too. Please bring a picnic lunch and drink with you to enjoy on the grounds or under the tent of Pharsalia when you have finished photographing. You may also want to bring a clean bucket if you are interested in buying flowers from Pharsalia. We hope to have peony roots available for purchase at this time. If not, we will be taking orders. This workshop is rain or shine. Space is limited so sign up early. Register in advance.
