Nelson Farmers’ Market Cooperative
The Nelson Farmers’ Market Cooperative started in 1997 when a handful of farmers in Nelson County decided to form a private cooperative to help local residents have better access to fresh local produce. The rest is history. Today, the Nelson Farmers’ Market Cooperative has grown to over 50 vendors and continues to bring a wonderful variety of produce, baked goods, plants, flower, crafts and more to our local community.
While the Market cannot operate as usual this season, they are offering the opportunity to place orders in advance. You will then be able to pick up your order on Saturdays from 9am to 11am.
2020 Nelson Farmer’s Market
During this time of social distancing, our farmers are going the extra mile to ensure our community still has access to fresh food. The vendors listed below have set up online ordering platforms for customers to place pre-orders for Saturday deliveries at the Nelson Farmers’ Market grounds in Nellysford. Even if you don’t place an order, please take a moment to thank our vendors for developing these online stores to help keep us all healthy and safe.

French green beans, eggplant, peppers, okra, summer squash, garlic, and regular and cherry tomatoes
