The Farmhouse at Lovingston Winery carries much of the history of the property. It was built in 1906 by John Stevens. He married Josie, the namesake of the property, a year later with a 24 year age gap. Josie was just 18. Much of the upstairs is original with 115 years of charm.
There are three spacious bedrooms, one with a king, one with two full beds, and the last with a queen. There is also a full bath upstairs. The downstairs still has many original features of the home, mixed with modern amenities. The kitchen is completely renovated with a full bathroom. There are also 2 areas for gathering. One is a large living room with a TV and the other is a smaller parlor with a cozy fireplace. On the main floor, there is also a beautiful master suite with bay windows, an oversized full length mirror, and king sized bed. The private bathroom has a spa-like feel with heated floors, a double vanity, and a rain shower with 5 other jets and temperature and pressure control with just the click of a button!
We will have farmhouse rentals open beginning the first of the year. Since the Farmhouse doubles as our tasting room, it will resemble a bed & breakfast set up with shared areas. We will be offering the master suite as one rental, and the three bedrooms upstairs plus the full bathroom on the main floor as another.
